The decision to move to Hong Kong was one made out of passion, a decision made for quality of life. For more than a decade I have been working here as a representative for internationally renowned brands in the hotel industry.

Despite living what I thought was a fulfilling life, disillusionment began to creep into my mind: one of my tenants stopped paying rent, my accountant did a poor job advising me on an investment and a major customer of mine was in financial difficulties, which also affected my business. Then a call came from a close friend, through this call I realised that my mental health was declining, and I wasn’t feeling well. It was my friend that recommended me to Jörg Tenwinkel – a coach with an economic background. Although I felt as though it was grasping at straws, I got into contact. Despite the distance, time-zone difference and the fact that I hadn’t got to know him personally, our meetings over the phone gave me confidence, especially in myself. All this, even during the pandemic which also hit me hard as a salesperson. Jörg Tenwinkel basically got me to take my little construction sites into my own hands, this alone almost worked on my biggest one: my lost passion.

As soon as the travel restrictions are lifted, I will make my way to the Côte d'Azur. I would like to learn more about myself through an individual coaching. Until then: thank you for my rediscovered passion.
